I recently changed jobs. Between interviews, my boss threatening to fire me, and constant updates to my immediate family, I thought about the future of my career every day for six months.
It was exhausting.
Not to mention the hours of work required to update my resume, create a website portfolio, and, oh yeah, actually search for and apply to jobs.
The pressure was downright overwhelming, and there were many days where I doubted if I even had the skills to secure a stable, full-time job. So many times, I wanted to crawl into a hole and give up. But that just wasn’t an option.
